CHICAGO, ILL. – Activist Melissa Atkins Wardy‘s new book,  Redefining Girly: How Parents Can Fight the Stereotyping and Sexualizing of Girlhood, from Birth to Tween (Chicago Review Press: Jan. 2014) is a thoughtful, comprehensive guide for parents to raise happy, healthy, confident children in an environment saturated with stereotyped gender roles and sexed-up clothing, toys and media.
